A day I will never forget...
I can't beleive it's been eleven years already...
It seems like it's been forever...but at the same time it feels like it was just yesterday.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you...
I will never forget you...I love you.

So today my dad took me to African Loin Safari. I had never been there before but it was really cool and I had a lot of fun. It was nice cause it was super hot out so all the animals were out…a lion walk right in front of our car…like less than a foot from the end of the car...it was so crazy. My dad and I were playing with an ostrich, making it follow my mitt up against the window. Oh and I got to ride on an elephant!! I was so scared but it was really cool…here are some pictures…

In other news…I finally got a job!!! I am working at a childcare centre called Road to Leaning with Melissa Beerman..she got me the job. I am only supply staff at the moment but hopefully if everything works out I will get full time in one of the rooms upstairs as long as they get all the licensing stuff done. It’s nice doing the supply stuff though cause this way I will get a chance to work in all the rooms at some point depending on who I am covering. This way I get to know all the kids and the other staff…I spent the last two days in the infant room and I have loved it. The kids are all so cute…but so much work…it way different working in a day care compared to an early years centre…but it’s a livable difference.

There was something else I was gonna say but I can’t remember at the moment…Oh yeah…I remember now….I AM GOING TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND NEXT SUMMER!!! On Monday I was accepted for the mission trip. So now it’s on to the fun part of fundraising…I am so not looking forward to that…I need over $6000…it’s gonna take forever to get that…I hope I can get it all or else it’s coming out of my pocket…I guess it’s a good thing I got that job than

It's crazy to think that it’s been one year already since I had my first surgery. It was one year ago on Saturday; I can remember it like it was just yesterday. At the same time there is so many things I don't remember and it's seems like it has been way longer than a year. I am glad it's all over with though...although I do have to go for my one-year check up on November 9th and will need to go now every year from now on but that’s how it goes I guess.

So I am home from camp and I already miss it!
I got home on Sunday and I haven't done a whole lot since I got home...well I was gone my parents bought a trampoline so I have been on there a lot, so that's been fun I guess. Camp was a lot of fun though. So many good times...I counciled first week and I was a craft lady with Jen second week, that was a lot of fun hanging out with Jen the whole week and having a week long sleep over, we also got in some beach trips as well!!  My brother ended up counseling second week as well so that was cool having him there and hanging out with him. I got to see him more at camp than I do at home.
I don't know what else to say...cause most of you who read this were at camp with me and if we weren't you can just ask me about it and I can tell you cause it would way faster than typing it all out.
but here are some pictures for you...

Cabin picture before supper...it was crazy hair
meal. One of my girls did my hair for me.

All the councilors from first week

Me and Alex

A door hanging thing that Jen and I got from 2 of
the boys with a note on it..we thought it was really
cute.

that's all for now if you want to see more go to my msn myspace thing.

So I didn't get the job, which sucks but oh well...there was over 200 people wanting the job and only 25 jobs available...so when I get home from camp I am going to apply at a bunch of places and we'll see what happens.
Tomorrow's camp and I am really excited! I will be gone for 2 weeks!! I still need to pack though....I am not even close to being done actually I haven't even started but I did get some stuff for camp this past week with my mom which was a lot of fun to hang out with her and do that. Stuff for my cabin, the dress up meals and clothes for me
well that's about it for now, I hope everyone has a good 2 weeks and I shall post next with pictures from camp!!
